Hello! Welcome to my gardening blog. I’m Vicky Frost, proud new owner of a cottage in Letchworth Garden City – and the large, madly-overgrown garden that goes with it. (You can find out more here). My previous garden experience can roughly be summed up as: a few patio pots and the odd plant put into the garden of a rented-house, so this going to be an adventure. I was also exceptionally good at growing radishes as a child, and seem to have an odd effect on nastursiums (they go wild within seconds of meeting me).
When I’m not in the garden, I’m a journalist for The Guardian – although they tend not to let me loose on the gardening bits. Obviously, this is a personal site, and is not connected with the paper.
